The City of Moorhead produces a variety of maps from it's Geographic Information System (GIS). These maps are updated on a regular basis.
Please feel free to use this location as a resource to access, view, and
print these maps. The maps below are in Adobe PDF format, the latest
free version of Adobe Reader is available here.
The City of Moorhead GIS also offers two Interactive GIS Mapping websites:
Flood Stage Information This mapping site provides information on Red River
flood stage levels that may affect properties and structures in the City of Moorhead
and in Oakport.
The transparent blue areas of flooding were created from elevation data acquired in 2008. Protected areas resulting from flood mitigation projects completed since 2008 are not represented in the flood stages on this website. The City of Moorhead plans to update this information in the fall of 2011.
Emergency protection measures, such as temporary clay levees, are also not represented.
